HTML,CSS and JS

HTML is not considered as a programming language but still, it controls the whole world wide web. This website is made with HTML. HTML is very evolving language. HTML stands for "HyperText Markup Language". It makes web-development much easier and efficient.

Versions of HTML

The first version of HTML was written by Tim Berners-Lee in 1993. The most used version of HTML was 4.0, which was the official standard from December 1999.But now the standard version of HTML is HTML 5 which is used mostly. Back then websites used to have simple structures and no fonts, colors, slideshows and menus.

Now let's look at some languages used with HTML.

CSS

CSS is the why you see colors, animations, slideshows etc. CSS means Cascading Stylesheet. It is used with HTML. This was a revolution in Web-Development when it was first introduced. Today, it is a major part of making a good website. It was first introduced in December 1996 called CSS1. By the way, this is the third version of CSS CSS 3.

JS

JS means JavaScript. HTML and CSS are not called programming languages but JavaScript is called a programming language. It is the brain of website. It can talk to the server and also HTML and CSS. It is the most popular language in the world. It controls the logic of a website. Anywhere there is logic in a website there is JS. This is the 5th Version of JS.

• HTML, CSS and JS combined makes a modern website perfectly working. HTML creates each and every element of a website while CSS make these elements beautiful and most importantly JS holds the logic of the website.
